Is Jesus Really God?

Dr. Rocky Ramsey takes us through the Old and New Testaments to show that Jesus is not merely a representative of God, but God Himself revealed in human form. The Bible repeatedly declares His divinity:

  • He is “I AM” (Exodus 3:14, John 8:58)

  • He is the Creator (John 1:1–3, Colossians 1:16–17)

  • He is the King of kings (Revelation 19:16)

  • He is the Rock (Matthew 16:18)

  • He is the Judge and the Savior (John 5:22, Luke 19:10)

God’s triune nature may be incomprehensible, but in Jesus, the fullness of God was made visible (John 14:9). He is the eternal Word made flesh, the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last. When we truly see Jesus for who He is, it changes everything—our worship, our confidence, and our salvation.

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.
