They loved each other well, sought the Lord fully, and modeled godly behavior for their kids to follow. They cared more about character than comfort, refused to excuse bad behavior, and allowed their children to face the consequences of their choices. They protected their kids, provided a Christ-centered home, and kept their marriage and faith at the center rather than making their children the center of their world.

These principles point parents to raise children with eternity in mind, teaching values that outlast grades, sports, and appearances—values that lead to a life anchored in Christ.
