Biblical Parenting
Parenting today can be confusing. We’re bombarded with advice from experts, social media, and even friends and family. But the Bible calls parents to a higher and clearer standard: to raise children who know and love God.
In this sermon, Dr. Rocky Ramsey continues the Relationships Series by teaching seven responsibilities of Biblical parenting: model, instruct, provide, protect, respect, train, and discipline.
Biblical parenting isn’t just about raising “good kids” or helping them succeed in life. It’s about shaping their hearts to follow Jesus. When parents love God, live His Word, and guide their children with wisdom and discipline, they prepare the next generation not just for adulthood—but for eternity.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.”
