What God Wants to Produce in You
Continuing our series on the Holy Spirit, Dr. Rocky Ramsey explains God's purpose for spiritual fruit in the life of every believer.
This message teaches that God intends His people to bear fruit in four areas: their works, worship, influence, and character. Spiritual fruit is not accidental, nor is it merely external behavior. It is the evidence of God's work in a life surrendered to Him.
Pastor Rocky reminds us that God has always intended His people to bear eternal fruit. Fruitfulness is not reserved for pastors or missionaries; every believer is called to impact others and reflect Christ's character.
At the same time, fruit is not self-produced. God Himself is the source of all spiritual fruit. Apart from Christ, we can do nothing. Yet believers are also called to cooperate with God's work by pursuing obedience. Scripture commands us to love, rejoice, and live at peace, showing that spiritual growth requires active participation.
Ultimately, fruit is proof of life. Just as healthy trees produce healthy fruit, genuine believers increasingly display the work of God in their lives. Spiritual fruit doesn't save us, but it reveals the reality of a saving relationship with Christ.
