Who Jesus Is
Exodus records one of the most powerful moments in Scripture: God revealing Himself to Moses as “I AM.” This name declares eternal existence, self-sufficiency, and divine authority.
In this message, Dr. Rocky Ramsey shows how Jesus directly connects Himself to that divine name. When Jesus declared, “Before Abraham was born, I AM,” He was not speaking metaphorically — He was claiming deity.
The Bible teaches that God the Father is invisible and unseen by human eyes. Yet Jesus is described as the image of the invisible God, the radiance of His glory, and the exact representation of His nature. To see Jesus is to see the Father.
The “glory” of God is the way the invisible God reveals Himself in the physical world — from the burning bush to the pillar in the wilderness, and ultimately in Christ Himself.
Jesus’ “I AM” statements reveal not just what He does, but who He is:
The Bread of Life
The Light of the World
The Door
The Good Shepherd
The Resurrection and the Life
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
The Vine
This message calls believers to worship the Christ who is not merely a teacher or prophet — but the eternal I AM.
“When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.””
