Forgiving Others
Forgiving others is one of the hardest commands in Scripture—and one of the most freeing. In this final message of the Forgiveness Series, Dr. Rocky Ramsey teaches that forgiveness is fundamentally about letting go.
This message explains three dimensions of forgiveness: judicial forgiveness before God, psychological forgiveness that releases hatred and revenge, and relational forgiveness that removes barriers when repentance and restoration are possible.
Forgiveness is not denial, forgetting, or pretending the pain is gone. It is the decision to no longer allow past wounds or hurtful people to control your present. It is given for your sake, not theirs—and it flows from the forgiveness we ourselves have received in Christ.
The message also addresses why forgiveness is required: God commands it, fellowship with Him depends on it, and grace demands it. True forgiveness places justice in God’s hands and allows us to move forward rather than remain trapped in yesterday.
“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
