Rich Crist is married to his lovely wife Pam, the father of four children, grandfather to ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There was a period of time in Rich and Pam’s life when divorce looked like the only option to be free from the pain of a broken marriage. But with the leadership and direction of a good strong church, using a biblical approach to their brokenness, they surrendered their wills to God’s will and miracles began to happen. The result is 49 years of marriage and the gift of serving Christ in ministry.

It soon became evident to them, and others, that God had plans for them to share the hope they received in Christ. Rich went back to school, received his degree in counseling and worked in the secular field for eight years. In 1999, He was asked to join the staff of Canyon Hills Community Church to develop a Christian counseling ministry. He developed the counseling ministry at CHCC based on the biblical theology of The National Association of Nouthetic Counseling. There were hundreds that found victory and healing through that ministry and he now brings it to Corryton Church.

Rich and his wife Pam are excited for the opportunity of investing in the lives of those at Corryton Church and know that they will be blessed as much as those they have the opportunity to work with.
