In Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus gave us the two greatest commandments.  The first is to love God with all that we are.  We love God primarily three ways: (1) We love God by having a personal relationship with Him (John 17:3).  (2) We love God by being obedient to Him (John 14:21) and by becoming like Christ in our character (Romans 8:29).  (3) And we love God by fulfilling our unique God-given purpose (Ephesians 2:10).  The second commandment is to love others as ourselves.  That love gets expressed through serving others and giving to meet needs.  Corryton, more than anything else, seeks to be known as a church that loves well.  That love is expressed in ministry locally, nationally, and internationally.
